Los Huskies Student Group Coalition

The Mission of the Los Huskies Coalition is to serve as a collective voice and support system by representing and empowering the diverse Latinx community in order to build a stronger presence on campus.

Student Group Coalition:

Latin American Law Student Association (LALSA)

The Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA) at Northeastern University School of Law serves as a community for its membership, as a forum for student voices and as a support system for the needs and goals of Latinx/Hispanic/Chicanx law students at Northeastern University.

Our members come from different cultural, racial, ethnic and national backgrounds; these different raíces or “roots” are the foundations of our LALSA Family and serve as sources of collective strength, resilience and community. Our LALSA Familia welcomes you!

Latin American Student Organization (LASO)

The Latin American Student Organization’s goal is to promote a positive image of Latin American culture, and contribute to the progress of the Latin American population beyond Northeastern University through various outreach programs.

Kaliente

As Northeastern University’s only Latin dance team on campus, we work to promote Latin American heritage through our performances, which include Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Casino Rueda!

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers empowers the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential through STEM awareness, access, support and development. SHPE’s vision is a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians and engineers.

College of Science Student Diversity Advisory Council (COSSDAC)

College of Science Student Diversity Advisory Council (COSSDAC) is an inclusive community for undergraduates that unifies those who identify as underrepresented in the sciences. We intend to provide academic, professional and postgraduate resources for our members, improving connections between the faculty and engaging in the community off-campus.

Infórmate:

Infórmate gives the general membership of the Latinx Student Cultural Center a chance to have their voices heard by Coalition. It is a chance for individuals to express ideas and suggest changes impacting the LSCC without having to be a part of the staff or an LSCC-affiliated organization.
